At the upstream area, two portals producing drainage will be opened, drained, closed with non-wildlife accessible closures and capped with excavated material with drainage features installed to conduct mine water to the adjacent natural drain. Excess material will be transported to the onsite waste area. A Class III ditch and culvert will be installed in the natural drain. At the middle area, a slide threatening a structure will be addressed by excavating to rock and installing subdrain between the structure and the slide area; the subdrain will outlet into a concrete block-tied mat ditch along the driveway to the natural stream. A water body impounded over existing portals will be drained, the two portals closed with non-wildlife accessible closures and drainage features installed. Waste material will be used as a top treatment above the portal closures. An area north of the Williams Fork stream will be grubbed to assess stability; portals north of Williams Fork stream will be closed with wildlife-appropriate portal closures and adjacent unstable roof areas supported using aggregate. At the downstream area, two portals producing drainage will be excavated, drained and closed with non-wildlife accessible closures and drainage features installed. Three portals north of the natural stream will be closed with wildlife accessible portal closures and adjacent unstable roof areas supported. The culvert under Williams Branch Road is structurally compromised and will be replaced with inlet and outlet headwalls installed.
