The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment for mowing and landscaping services at Central State Hospital, 10510 LaGrange Road, Louisville, KY 40223. Services include: March spring clean-up, cut back perennials, edge beds, pull weeds, mulch, and debris removal; April through October weekly mowing, weed eating, edging, blowing sidewalks, and debris removal; November bi-weekly mowing, leaf removal; December second week mowing and leaf removal; additional services include hardwood mulch application, soil testing, lime and fertilizer application, pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicide application, overseeding, core aeration, repair of damaged turf, tree/shrub planting, general landscaping (mulch removal, bush trimming), monthly flower bed fertilization, bush hogging of utility right-of-way, and snow/ice removal and salt treatment. The contractor must sign in with the Maintenance Department Director each day, keep all equipment with them, and furnish a list of employees. Services shall be performed between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. The contractor must adhere to OSHA safety standards and furnish Material Safety Data Sheets for any chemicals used.
