The solicitation covers 20 line items: Anti-Icing Application Units in 1,300, 2,035, 2,635, and 3,135 gallon capacities; Anti-Icing Application Tanks with and without frames; Baffle Balls for various tank sizes; Free-Standing Leg Options for 2,035/2,635 and 3,135 gallon tanks; an Upgrade Plumbing & Spray Bar Option; a Gas Engine & Pump Option; and a Centrifugal Pump. Each unit must include a UV-stable polyethylene tank, tank frame, applicator bar frame with telescoping spray bar, pump and hydraulic motor, flow meter, valves, hoses, and other components. The Department of Highways will mount and install the units onto Department trailers and dump trucks. The successful bidder must provide a detailed drawing and parts list with their bid, field-test each unit prior to delivery, and provide a 3-year warranty on the tank and a 1-year warranty on all major components.
