The vendor shall furnish fully operated equipment (except light plants) in excellent mechanical condition, including all maintenance, repairs, fuel, and lubrication. Equipment includes excavators (track, long reach, large), dump trucks, articulated trucks, crawler tractors, skid steers, cold planers, road wideners, vibratory rollers, milling machines, wheel loaders, motor graders, tree trimmers, hydraulic cranes, and flaggers for traffic control. The vendor must provide equipment within a guaranteed response time and is responsible for mobilization. Emergency work requires beginning work within 48 hours of notification, with a $750 emergency mobilization cost per piece of equipment delivered within 24 hours. The rental rate is paid only for actual use, with a minimum guarantee of 8 hours per work order.
