The work consists of asphalt resurfacing of Samuels Road (KY-509) from milepoint 0 at KY-245 to milepoint 4.550 at US 31E, a distance of 4.55 miles. The scope includes leveling and wedging, asphalt mix for pavement wedge, CL2 asphalt surface 0.38D PG64-22, temporary signs, maintaining and controlling traffic, mobilization for mill and text, asphalt pavement milling and texturing, pavement striping (temporary and permanent), pavement markings (thermoplastic stop bars, curve arrows, combination arrows, railroad crossbucks), fuel adjustment, asphalt adjustment, non-tracking tack coat, and demobilization. The project also includes edge keys, non-tracking tack application, and traffic control with lane closures and temporary striping.
