The contractor shall saw-cut approximately 60 linear feet of existing asphalt, remove and dispose of approximately 1,300 square feet of deteriorated asphalt and 100 square feet of 4-inch non-reinforced concrete base, prepare the surface and place approximately 2 inches of aggregate base where needed, install a minimum 3-inch Asphalt Concrete Base Course and minimum 2-inch Asphalt Concrete Surface Course, grade the area to correct a sunken condition and restore drainage, provide traffic control per NCDOT requirements, and perform site cleanup, all within 60 calendar days of Notice to Proceed.
