II. Definitions:
Covered Employees: Employees of a contractor who have or will have continuing duties related to the contracted service(s) to be performed at a school district and have or will have the opportunity for direct contact with students. School contractors that no longer are eligible to access NCHRI through the DPS clearinghouse may review and certify state criminal history information to the extent available outside of the DPS clearinghouse for those persons employed before January 1, 2008.
