In partnership with the Budget and Strategic Services Department, the Information Technology Department of the City of Irving, known as "City", is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to conduct a comprehensive organizational assessment of the City’s IT Department. The selected consultant will evaluate the department’s organizational structure, staffing, service delivery, operational processes, technology lifecycle management strategy, and project governance. The objective is to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, customer service, strategic alignment, and long-term financial sustainability while ensuring the department is appropriately positioned to support the City’s current operational needs and future growth.
There will be a single pre-proposal conference in conjunction with this RFP. Attendance at the meeting is not mandatory. Please see the Activities tab for further information.
Any questions or requests for clarification before or after the scheduled pre-proposal conference should be submitted online. All responses to questions will be released in the form of an addendum after the cutoff for submitting questions has passed.
The City of Irving strongly encourages bidders to submit their response to this bid electronically. Please call the individual listed on the bid if you require assistance with this submittal. Electronic submission will eliminate errors and unnecessary work, and is more friendly to the environment. In the case of an RFP or RFQ, any hard copy requirements will be stated within the specifications. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
