This bid is not eligible for electronic bid through the Supplier Portal. To allow for sufficient processing time in compliance with Indiana State law, all quoted prices offered to the State under this Event must be valid for thirty (30) calendar days after the Response Due By date/time. Pricing must include all applicable charges, fees, and shipping.
The contractor will farm designated fields at Wilbur Wright Fish and Wildlife Area, planting crops according to a specified rotation (corn, soybeans, idle) across 96.5 total farmed acres for the 2027-2030 contract period. The contractor must pay cash rent at bid submission, maintain fences and improvements, leave standing crop for wildlife habitat, and comply with restrictions on pesticides, neonicotinoid seed treatments, and fall plowing. The contractor must also provide all seed, fertilizer, labor, and equipment, and obtain required insurance coverages.
