The City of HoustonAirport System is seeking a qualified vendor to furnish and deliver one (1) pair of commercial-grade, 16-gauge steel doors and associated parts/hardware in accordance with the specifications and quantities listed below. Bidders shall submit a complete quotation addressing all requirements of this solicitation.
The vendor shall provide all required materials, hardware, factory preparations, and delivery necessary to furnish a complete and functional pair of doors.
Door Specifications
Quantity: One (1) pair / two (2) door leaves
Door Size: 3'-0" W × 7'-0" H per door leaf
Overall Pair Opening: Approximately 6'-0" W × 7'-0" H
Material: 16-gauge steel
Door Type: Commercial hollow metal double-door assembly
Finish: Factory-applied prime-painted finish suitable for field painting
Lock Preparation: ANSI 161 cylindrical lock preparation
Flush Bolt Preparation: Factory preparation for flush bolts
Handing: To be specified and confirmed by the city prior to fabrication
Frame/Throat: 4-inch nominal frame/header or applicable frame throat depth consistent with the existing installation
Hardware Requirements
Continuous Hinge: One (1) Roton 780-053 continuous hinge.
Flush Bolts: Two (2) 1555 flush bolts in 26D finish.
Thresholds: Two (2) Hager 541V, 72-inch aluminum thresholds.
Weatherstrip: One (1) complete set, 6070 / 891-6070.
Meeting Astragals: One (1) set of Hager 756V, 7-foot meeting astragals.
Hinge Fillers: Six (6) H45 hinge fillers.
Door Closers: Two (2) Norton 7500 door closers, 689 finish.
Astragal/Flush Bolt Component: One (1) ASA FB Astrical installed, with handing as required by the door configuration.
Furnish and deliver one pair of two commercial hollow metal double-door leaves, each 3'-0" W x 7'-0" H for an approximately 6'-0" W x 7'-0" H opening, 16-gauge steel with factory prime-painted finish, ANSI 161 cylindrical lock preparation and factory flush bolt preparation with city-confirmed handing and 4-inch nominal frame/header throat, including Roton 780-053 continuous hinge, 1555 flush bolts in 26D, Hager 541V 72-inch aluminum thresholds, 6070 / 891-6070 weatherstrip set, Hager 756V 7-foot meeting astragals, H45 hinge fillers, Norton 7500 closers in 689 finish, and installed ASA FB Astrical, with all factory preparations and delivery to provide a complete functional pair.
