Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a sole source procurement to Weedoo Greenboat, Inc. for an aquatic work boat and integrated proprietary attachments for a one (1) time purchase at a total cost of $121,912.00. This acquisition will enable safe and efficient removal of debris, vegetation, and obstruction across the County’s waterways. This procurement is being made in accordance with Section 3-205(2)(a) of the County’s Procurement Policy as Weedoo Greenboat, Inc. is the provider of the only item meeting salient specifications. The vessel is a unique aquatic work boat system that incorporates a patented outdrive (U.S. Patent 11840321) that keeps the vessel compact, maneuverable, and fuel-flexible. The hull’s versatility is further improved through the use of unique modular attachments incompatible with other vessels. The County reserves the right to extend the time period further, adjust the scope of services in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the resulting award accordingly.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals/bids.
Contractors who are able and interested in providing equivalents for all the identified propriety parts and goods must submit clear and convincing information to support a challenge to the intended award. Challenges to this procurement must be received no later than the specified Close Date of this Sole Source notice and must be submitted using the “submission” section in EUNA Procurement for this particular procurement. Absent any challenges, an award will likely be made after the Close Date.
The County will review properly submitted challenges (responses) to determine whether bona fide competition exists. Any such responses received by the deadline will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this procurement as a competitive solicitation.

Most Florida work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what an agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
