Re: Sheriff’s Office New Pursuit Vehicles
Colquitt County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed bids on One (1) new pursuit vehicle with the option
to buy Three (3) additional at same price (per specifications) for use by the Sheriff’s Office. See attached
specifications.
The bid packet is available at the Purchasing Office at the Colquitt County Annex, 101 East Central Avenue, Room
206, Moultrie, GA 31768 or can be accessed on the Colquitt County website at
www.colquittcountyga.gov/departments/purchasing and refer to the Bid and RFP list to download this packet.
Sealed bids will be accepted in the office of the County Purchasing Department, 101 East Central Avenue, room
206, Moultrie, Ga 31768 or P.O. Box 517, Moultrie, GA 31776 until Monday, October 26, 2026 at 10:00 AM, at
which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids must be in a sealed envelope, plainly marked in the
lower left-hand corner “Sealed Bid Pursuit Vehicles”. It is the bidder’s responsibility to have all bids turned in by
the called time. No bids will be accepted after the called time.
Supply one new unused newest-year white 4-door 4x2 pursuit-rated SUV with manufacturer standard police package for the Sheriff's Office, with bidder pricing to cover three additional identical vehicles at the same price. Minimum specs include 5.3L V8 355 HP engine, heavy-duty police cooling, automatic transmission with auxiliary cooler, police suspension, brakes and differential, power steering with cooler, 220-amp alternator, dual batteries, pursuit wheels/tires, driver-controlled power locks/windows with rear lockout, AM/FM with Bluetooth and rear camera, 40/20/40 front and 60/40 rear heavy-duty upholstery, factory tint, single-key system with four keys/fobs, vinyl floor, tow hooks and receiver hitch, plus stated warranty and delivery terms.
