The Atkinson County Board of Commissioners will received separate, sealed bids until 2:00pm (local-
time), Thursday, October 1, 2026, for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals
necessary for the installation of Street and Drainage Improvements on Heritage Hills Road, Morris
Road, And Mancil Road, Pearson, Georgia for the County’s Fiscal Year 2022 Community
Development Block Grant, Grant Number 22P-Y-002-6262 as funded by the Georgia Department of
Community Affairs. Bids will be opened and read.
The meeting will be held at Atkinson County Board of Commissioners’ Office and will be opened to
the public. Proposals can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Mr. Parker Liles, Chairman for the
Atkinson County Board of Commissioners, 86 Main Street, Pearson, Georgia 31642. Proposals
received after the designated time will not be considered. Atkinson County Board of Commissioners
may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids.
The Scope of Work Includes:
Street and Drainage Improvements for a total of 1.352 miles
All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Owner in the amount of at least five
percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if
awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment
Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the Owner.
