SECTION 1: INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND
Tift County Board of Commissioners (the “County”) and Tift County Fire Rescue (TCFR) are
soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified suppliers for the purchase of fifty (50) Self-
Contained Breathing Apparatus Units (SCBA), one hundred (100) SCBA cylinders, and fifty (50)
SCBA facepieces. All proposals must be sealed and submitted to the address listed in Section 5
no later than 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 25, 2026.
SECTION 2: SCOPE OF WORK
The successful vendor shall furnish, deliver, and provide all documentation for the following
items:

The successful vendor shall furnish, deliver and provide all documentation for 50 NFPA 1970 2025 Edition compliant 4500 psi SCBA units with harness/backpack, EZ-Flow regulator, PASS device and personal accountability system, 50 NFPA 1970 2025 Edition compliant facepieces with Kevlar harness in size medium compatible with the SCBA unit, and 100 4500 psi 45-minute carbon fiber composite cylinders with snap-change valve assembly compatible with the SCBA unit, plus freight and delivery to Tift County Fire/Rescue, with NFPA certification, technical specifications, warranty information and estimated delivery timeframe.
