Wilcox County Board of Commissioners will receive bids, until the date and time set for the bid opening, at
the Commissioner’s Office 103 North Broad Street. Abbeville GA. 31001. Bids must be submitted in a sealed
envelope containing the following information on the outside, front, lower left corner of the envelope:
SEALED BID: “Wilcox County Fire Department SCBA Compressor and Fill Station”. Failure to include such
information may result in the bid opened prematurely and/or declared disqualified.
Fire Department SCBA Compressor and Fill Station Vendor Proposal packages may be obtained from Wilcox
County Board of Commissioners Office, 103 North Broad Street, Abbeville GA. 31001 or by calling

Proposal will be accepted until 2:30p.m. eastern standard time, Thursday, November 19, 2026 at the Wilcox
County Board of Commissioners Office, 103 North Broad Street, Abbeville GA. 31001.

SCBA Compressor and Fill Station (RFP)
Whereas, Wilcox County has identified a need to purchase Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (hereinafter
“SCBA”) Wilcox County Fire Department SCBA Compressor and Fill Station RFP is submitted for qualified
vendors.
Proposal Procedures: Wilcox County Board of Commission Office (WCBOC) will receive bids, until the
date and the time set for the bid opening, at the County Commission office, 103 North Broad Street. Abbeville
GA 31001.
Vendors will furnish all equipment associated with the SCBA compressor and fill station, including a four-stage 6,000 PSI 10 CFM compressor, Grade E purification with CO monitoring, four-cylinder cascade storage, and a two-position enclosed fill station, and will provide delivery, installation, startup, system and leak testing, operational demonstration, air quality certification, and on-site training covering operation, cascade operation, routine maintenance, emergency shutdown and filter replacement.
