I. GENERAL PROJECT INFORMATION
A. Project Overview
Project B2464 Factory Shoals Ped Bridge will provide a dedicated pedestrian and bicyclist
connection over I-20 via Factory Shoals Road. This connection will improve travel for those
who rely on walking and or transit to reach their daily needs.
The consultant will provide concept development, public involvement, field surveys, environmental document development, preliminary and final construction plans, right-of-way plans, erosion control plans, and construction services. The project will begin west of Hartman Road, cross I-20 via a new 12-foot shared-use path adjacent to the existing bridge, and terminate at Riverside Parkway. Services include project kickoff and progress meetings, concept reports with alternatives, NEPA documentation, database preparation, geotechnical services, and final PS&E package submission.

Most Georgia work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what a GC or agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
