Sealed Bids will be received from bidders by the Gwinnett County Board of Education,
53 Gwinnett Drive, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, Bldg. "C" Conference Room: The
furnishing of all labor, materials, and services necessary to perform the construction
of SIMONTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL INTERIOR RENOVATIONS - BUILDINGS
2010, 2011, 275 Simonton Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30045, until November 10, 2026
@ 3:00 p.m. Bids will be opened publicly and will be read aloud at the time and place
stated above. Fax transmittals and E-mails of Bid Proposal Form shall not be
accepted by the Owner. Bids received after the above time is called will not be
accepted. No phones will be available.
All bidders must submit AIA Document A305-2020 Contractor=s Qualifications
Statement to be evaluated by the Owner and Architect prior to being issued plans and
specifications. Bidders who do not submit the A305-2020 Statement will be subject to
disqualification. The A305-2020 must show the Contractor=s ability to complete the
Contract in a satisfactory manner on projects of similar scope and complexity.
References from past clients and projects must be included and will be verified.
General Contractor=s main office where work for this project will be completed shall
be a permanent office located in the state of Georgia within a seventy-five (75) mile
radius of the project site. This office shall have been in existence for no less than ten
(10) years.
NOTE: AIA Document A305-2020 is specified for this project and will be for
other projects going forward.
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and services necessary to perform the construction of interior renovations at Simonton Elementary School, Buildings 2010 and 2011, located at 275 Simonton Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30045. The project must be substantially complete by July 23, 2027, with construction not starting before May 27, 2027. The contractor must mobilize within ten days of Notice to Proceed.
