Sealed Bids will be received from bidders by the Gwinnett County Board of Education,
53 Gwinnett Drive, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, Bldg. "C" Conference Room: The
furnishing of all labor, materials, and services necessary to perform the construction of
the following projects:
STRIPLING ES ROOF REPLACEMENT OF BLDGS 2010 & 2011 (Project S)

until Tuesday, October 20, 2026, 3:30 p.m. Bids will be opened publicly and will be
read aloud at the time and place stated above. Fax transmittals and E-mails of Bid
Proposal Form shall not be accepted by the Owner. Bids received after the above time
is called will not be accepted. No phones will be available.
All bidders must submit AIA Document A305-2020 Contractor’s Qualifications
Statement to be evaluated by the Owner and Architect prior to being issued plans and
specifications. Bidders who do not submit the A305 Statement will be subject to
disqualification. The A305 must show the Contractor’s ability to complete the Contract
in a satisfactory manner on projects of similar scope and complexity. References from
past clients and projects must be included and will be verified. General Contractor’s
main office where work for this project will be completed shall be a permanent office
located in the state of Georgia within a seventy-five (75) mile radius of the project site.
This office shall have been in existence for no less than ten (10) years.
Bidding documents must be obtained from the office of Lindsay Pope Brayfield &
Assocs., Inc., Architects, 344 West Pike Street, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046.
The work involves furnishing all labor, materials, and services necessary to perform the construction of the roof replacement of Buildings 2010 and 2011 at Stripling ES, located at 6155 Atlantic Blvd, Norcross, GA 30071. The project is identified as Project S, LPB-226012. Construction may begin during the school year on weekends and during student breaks, with full access to the building beginning Thursday, May 27, 2027. All construction must be substantially complete by Friday, July 23, 2027.
