Sealed Bids: The Bacon County Board of Commissioners will accept sealed bids for the construction of the
project entitled FY2026 LMIG & 2026 LRA – Widening, Deep Patching, and Temporary Stripping of
Teakwood Road until, October 6, 2026 at 11:00 am local prevailing time, at the Bacon County
Courthouse, Room 102, 502 W 12th Street, Alma, Georgia 31510 at which time and place all Bids will be
publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of
sixty (60) calendar days.
Contractor License: Any Contractor submitting a bid must be licensed by a pre-qualified Georgia
Department of Transportation Contractor and must be fully insured and bonded. License numbers must be
written on the face of the bid envelope. No bid will be opened unless it contains the Contractor's license
number. See Instructions to Bidders for additional bidding requirements.
