CITY OF COVINGTON, GEORGIA
Sealed bids will be received by the Owner, the City of Covington, Covington, GA, in the offices
of City of Covington, 2194 Emory Street NW, Covington, GA, 30014 until 11:00 a.m. local
time, on October 15, 2026 and then publicly opened and read aloud, for furnishing all labor,
materials and equipment, and performing all work necessary for completing the Runway 10
Obstruction Removal Project (2026).
This project consists of the following:
SCOPE OF WORK
RUNWAY 10 OBSTRUCTION REMOVAL. In general, the improvements on which bids are
requested will require the following major construction items:
• Clearing
• Tree Removal
• Tree Topping
• Seeding and Mulching disturbed areas (where necessary)
• Miscellaneous Landscaping
A pre-bid conference to respond to all inquiries with regards to this project will be held at
Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026 at 10:00 am (ET) in the Covington Municipal Airport, located
at 14100 GA-142, Covington, GA 30014. Pre-bid conference will have a virtual component, but
potential bidders are encouraged to attend. A site visit will also be made at this time.
To submit a bid on this project, Bidding and Contract Documents must be requested from RS&H.
