GENERAL SCOPE
It is the intent of the Columbus Consolidated Government (City) to establish
an annual contract with a Primary and a Secondary contractor to provide all
labor, equipment and materials to install/troubleshoot irrigation systems for on-
call installation and maintenance services during normal business hours and
after hours on an “as needed basis”, throughout the City.

The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials for on-call irrigation installation and maintenance services during normal business hours and after hours on an as-needed basis. Services include 24/7 availability for irrigation line breaks, flooding, or malfunctioning systems; prompt response to mitigate water damage; temporary shutoff and system isolation; troubleshooting and repair of sprinkler heads, valves, pipes, and timers; wiring and solenoid repairs; spring start-up (system inspection, flushing, zone testing, controller programming); winterization (system shut-off, draining, air-blowout); inspection of spray patterns; installation of new irrigation systems or zone expansions; relocation of heads or lines; integration of rain sensors, moisture sensors, or smart controllers; adjustments to watering schedules; programming, troubleshooting, and replacing irrigation controllers; integration with weather monitoring or smart irrigation platforms; and Wi-Fi or app-based controller setup and support.
