Concession Operations at Henry County Aquatic Center and Water Park - Annual Contract
Henry County Government is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to operate and manage a concession within the Henry County Aquatic Center and Kensley Grace Water Park. The selected operator will be responsible for providing high-quality, consistent food and beverage service in a safe, clean, and customer-focused environment. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to fulfill the terms and conditions of this solicitation.
RFP's will be accepted until 3:00 PM local time on October 6, 2026. Late RFP's will not be considered nor returned. RFP's submitted by mail, common carrier or delivered in person will be received by Henry County, Purchasing Department, located at 140 Henry Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253. Physical OR Electronic submissions accepted. Electronic RFP's are to be submitted through the County's eProcurement Portal at (https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/henryga). Emailed or faxed RFP's will not be considered.
RFP's may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by OCGA. Henry County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR
RFP # 27-16
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference and site visit has been scheduled
on September 15, 2026, at 1177 Henry Parkway Connector, McDonough,
GA 30253. Attendance at the Pre-Proposal Conference is voluntary for
Proposers responding to this solicitation; however, Proposers are encouraged
to attend.

Deadline for requests for clarifications and questions. Any possible exceptions
to the bid specifications and/or terms and conditions should be addressed
during this phase.
The selected operator will be responsible for providing high-quality, consistent food and beverage service in a safe, clean, and customer-focused environment. The vendor shall operate the Water Park concession Monday through Sunday from May 22, 2027, through September 6, 2027, with specified hours, and the Aquatic Center concession during scheduled special events, swim meets, and rentals from January 16, 2027, through November 14, 2027. The vendor must provide their own electronic payment system, maintain cleanliness and sanitation, obtain approval for all menu items from Henry County Parks and Recreation, and not sell alcoholic beverages. The vendor shall pay Henry County a percentage of gross sales on a bi-weekly basis and provide access to records for auditing.
