1.0 Competitive Sealed Proposals will be received by the Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority

2.0 The approximate extent and character of the Work is generally described as follows:
The work contemplated under the proposed Contract will include periodic construction services

services related to the Owner’s pipelines and other water system facilities. The OWNER
anticipates executing a one-year standing Contract under which the Contractor will provide
these construction services periodically, upon request from OWNER, with reimbursement on
the basis of actual time and materials costs.
3.0 Only those pipeline Contractors who are currently, as of the first date of this RFP, pre-
qualified with Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority for Categories 3 (48” and smaller) and
4 (unlimited size) will be allowed to receive bidding documents and submit a proposal for this
project. Also see special requirements in Article 22 of Instructions to Bidders. Each Bidder
must be licensed as a State of Georgia Utility Contractor at the time of the Bid.
4.0 A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held for all Bidders at the Cobb County-Marietta
Water Authority at 1170 Atlanta Industrial Drive, Marietta, Georgia 30066 on Thursday,
October 8, 2026, at 10:30 AM.
