The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to solicit sealed bids from interested vendors (Bidder) to provide chemicals to be used in the treatment of water and wastewater in facilities operated by the Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority.

SEPARATE SEALED BIDS for the supply of water treatment chemicals will be received by the Cobb
County-Marietta Water Authority at 1170 Atlanta Industrial Drive, Marietta, Georgia 30066 prior to 2:00
p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2026, for the Project know as:
2027 Water Treatment Chemicals
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Bids received
after the designated time for receival of bids will not be considered. Unsealed bids, including facsimile
bids or bids sent by e-mail, will not be considered. The Owner of the project is Cobb County-Marietta
Water Authority. Bidders shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Laws and comply with same.
Bid specifications can be obtained from the Owner’s Procurement Coordinator at
procurement@ccmwa.org. The Issuing Office address is: 1170 Atlanta Industrial Drive, Marietta,
Georgia 30066.
All questions related to the Project shall be submitted no later than 3:00 p.m., local time, September 29,
2026, to the Procurement Coordinator at procurement@ccmwa.org. Questions, if answered, will be
addressed by addendum to the Contract Documents. Receipt of any amendment to this Advertisement for
Bids shall be acknowledged, in writing, and shall be submitted with the bid.
The Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive
technicalities, to make an award deemed in its best interest or to rebid this service. An award will be made
to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder considered by conformity with the specifications and
required experience. A Certificate of Origin must be included with the bid, or the entire bid will be
considered unresponsive.
