Section 1 - Instructions to Bidders
The successful bidder will provide individually portioned and packaged hot breakfast and/or cold/shelf stable lunch, including beverages, for 15-50 people per day, between one and five days per week (Monday through Friday). Breakfast must be delivered between 7:45 am and 8:15 am; if lunches are requested, they will be delivered at the same time as breakfast or between 11:15 am and 11:45 am. The vendor must provide a sample menu with at least 10 breakfast and lunch options, offer non-pork alternatives for 25-50% of meals when pork is offered, and provide vegetarian and/or diabetic options when requested. The vendor will provide condiments and utensils, and must be prepared to provide catering on days requested upon notification by noon on the Thursday preceding the week services are required. The vendor shall create a weekly menu plan offering a variety of nutritious meals that include fresh fruits and vegetables.
