Method of Source Selection and Applicable Law: This Request for Proposals ("RFP") is
issued by the City of Atlanta (the "City") pursuant to the procedures specified in 40 US
Code 1101-1104 (Brooks Act) and 23 CFR Part 172. The City is soliciting Statements of
Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firm(s) or organization(s). By submitting an SOQ in
response to this solicitation, an offeror (herein called a "Proponent") acknowledges
familiarity with all laws applicable to this procurement.
About this Solicitation
This solicitation process involves:
• Statement of Qualifications (SOQ): focuses on qualifications and experience.
• Evaluation: focuses on technical approach, workload capacity, and past performance.
Replace the existing 423.5 feet long, 5 span concrete box beam Marietta Road bridge, built in 1971 and signed at 10 tons, with a new structure, pavement, curb and gutter, and a continuous 5-foot sidewalk on each side. The project also includes a continuous standard 5-foot sidewalk along Marietta Road from south of the bridge to Perry Boulevard/West Marietta Street, about 0.8 mile.
