A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on October 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at 222 Pine Avenue, Suite
260, Albany, Georgia 31701 and simultaneously via Zoom. The Project Manager will provide an
overview of the work to be performed and answer questions. All interested bidders are strongly

A 5% Bid Bond is required of all bidders. Bid bond must be present for bid to be read or
considered. 100% Performance and Payment bonds will be required of the successful bidder. This
project will be bid on a unit price basis for all specified work and will be awarded to the responsive
and responsible bidder submitting the lowest total base bid.
The City of Albany strongly encourages Small Business firms to participate in this bid. The City of Albany
reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding process. Bid

The project encompasses selective infrastructure demolition, new concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters and ADA-compliant wheelchair ramps, directional boring for underground conduit, grinding existing markings and applying thermoplastic stripes and lane arrows, installing regulatory, pedestrian and internally illuminated street name signs, removing existing poles and erecting steel strain poles with 25- to 55-foot mast arms, upgrading to Model 2070LX controllers with Model 332 cabinets, cutting 640 to 1,060 linear feet of loop saw cuts per intersection, and collecting multi-classification vehicular, pedestrian and truck data at eight sites plus four Jefferson Street intersections to develop coordinated signal timing plans.
