The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System ("SCCPSS') would like to take this opportunity to announce that it is requesting qualifications for RFQ C27-08 "As Needed' Geotechnical Engineering, Special Inspections and Materials Testing (Annual Contract). Through this process, SCCPSS will prequalify "responsive' and "responsible' professional organizations to perform Geotechnical Engineering, Special Inspections and Materials Testing Services for Operations projects. The District may negotiate with any of the successfully prequalified Offerors for future SCCPSS contracts in its discretion on an "as needed' basis for at least a year after SCCPSS publishes the list of approved vendors. No successfully prequalified Offeror is guaranteed the future award of a project.
This Request for Qualifications ("RFQ') packet identifies the goods and/or services requested by the SCCPSS and provides instructions for the submission of Qualification Statements and supporting documentation (collectively "Qualification Statement(s)"). All Qualifications Statements should be submitted electronically in the format specified by uploading to the SCCPSS Purchasing Department e-Procurement portal at https://sccpss.bonfirehub.com. Failure to include all of the information and/or documents requested by this solicitation could result in the Offerors' submittal not being considered.

Most Georgia work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what an agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
