INTRODUCTION
This is an invitation to bid to supply the City of Tybee Island, Georgia (sometimes hereinafter
referred to as “Owner”) with products or services as indicated herein.
Sealed bids must be received by 2:00pm local time, on Tuesday October 20, 2026. The City
of Tybee Island reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
No pre-bid meeting will be held.
METHOD OF AWARD: If the City of Tybee Island awards a contract from this ITB, it will be
awarded to the responsible bidder with the lowest responsive bid. Bidders must respond
completely by filling in all applicable blanks. Bids are subject to the terms and conditions of this
Invitation to Bid.
The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to furnish and install 1,020 linear feet of 8-foot high commercial grade chain link fence with top, mid, and bottom rails, including two unleashing areas each with two 8'x5' gates, two double-wide maintenance gates (8'x12'), terminal posts, line posts, hinges, privacy slats, and all associated hardware. The fence fabric shall be 9-gauge steel wire with 2-inch diamond mesh, hot-dip galvanized or vinyl/polymer coated. Posts shall be set in concrete footings 30-36 inches deep. The work is to be performed at Solomon Park, 89 Polk Street, Tybee Island, GA.
