Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Bibb County School District takes this opportunity to announce that we are requesting bids
for the Facility Condition Assessment. All bids should be delivered via EUNA only.
Bids will be accepted prior to September 14th, 2026 @ 8 am, EST.
The selected firm shall conduct on-site assessments of designated District facilities, including evaluation of roofing systems, HVAC and mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, structural components, building envelope, interior finishes, exterior conditions, fire and life-safety systems, accessibility/ADA considerations, security-related facility conditions, site conditions, parking, sidewalks, drainage, athletic and support facilities, and other major building systems. The assessment shall cover all District schools and designated facilities except six specifically excluded schools. The firm must identify existing deficiencies with descriptions, locations, current condition, recommended corrective action, priority level, estimated repair or replacement cost, and supporting photographs. It must evaluate remaining useful life of major systems, develop a Facility Condition Index for each facility, provide planning-level cost estimates, categorize needs by urgency (Priority 1–4), and develop a recommended multi-year Capital Improvement Plan. Deliverables include a districtwide executive report, individual facility reports, Facility Condition Index, detailed deficiency listing, photographic documentation, estimated repair and replacement costs, prioritized recommendations, multi-year Capital Improvement Plan, electronic database or spreadsheet, and an executive presentation to District leadership and/or the Board of Education.
