Notice is hereby given that the Macon Water Authority will receive sealed bids until 12:00 Noon. at the time legally prevailing in Macon, Georgia on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, for VEHICLES (TRUCKS). Bids will be publicly opened starting at 2:00 PM at 537 Hemlock St. Macon, GA 31201 in the Engineering Training Room.
Bid documents may be viewed and downloaded from the Georgia Procurement Registry website at http://ssl.doas.state.ga.us/PRSapp/PR_custom_index.jsp?agency=33561, or from the Macon Water Authority website at http://www.maconwater.org/invitations-to-bid. Bid documents are also available from the Macon Water Authority Purchasing Office via email to rhsmith@maconwater.org.
Bid envelopes should be sealed and CLEARLY MARKED on the outside as "Bid VEHICLES (TRUCKS)" and delivered to:

The Macon Water Authority reserves full freedom (in addition to the right to reject any and all bids) in awarding bids to consider all available factors including, but not limited to, price, reputation, financial responsibility, and experience. In addition, the bidder recognizes the right of the Authority to reject a bid if the bidder fails to furnish any required submittals on the date required by the bidding documents, or if the bid is in any way incomplete or irregular. Hence, the Authority may award bids to other than the lowest bidder if in the judgment of the Board the interest of the Authority will be best served by award to another.

Bid envelopes should be CLEARLY MARKED on the outside as
“BID FOR NEW VEHICLES”

NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE ABOVE DESIGNATED TIME.

The bidder must supply ten new vehicles: one 2026/2027 Ford Explorer Active 200A mid-size SUV; one 2026/2027 Ford F350 Super Cab Long Bed single rear wheel XL; two 2026/2027 Ford F250 8-cylinder 4X4 Super Cab Long Bed with utility body XL; four 2026/2027 F150 Super Cab 4X4 XL; one 2026/2027 F150 Crew Cab 4X4 XL; one 2026/2027 F150 Regular Cab 8-cylinder 4X4 8' Long Bed XL; and one 2026/2027 F250 V8 Super Cab Long Bed 4X4 with utility body XL. All vehicles must be new, delivered FOB Destination to 1090 MLK Jr. Blvd, Macon, GA 31201, and include a Manufacturer's Statement of Origin free of liens. Unit prices shall prevail if an error in extensions exists.
