SALE ADVERTISEMENT Fern Dog 0315 26/27 Timber Sale The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service is seeking sealed bids for the sale of timber. This sale consists of the clearcutting of approximately 146 acres of 46-year-old planted sand pine on Tate's Hell State Forest (SFI Certified Forest Certificate Number BVC-SFIFM-700005) in Franklin County, Florida (see attached maps). Timber available for harvest includes all merchantable sand pine (Pinus clausa) within the boundaries of the 146-acre parcel.
The estimated harvest volume of this sale is 16,094 tons of pine pulpwood. There are no other product class volumes for this sale. Sale boundaries are roads, wetlands, painted stand boundaries, or obvious timber type changes.
This is a twelve (12) month contract. Interested parties may obtain complete bid information by contacting Tyler Gilbert at (850) 697-0024. The Florida Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in bids received.
