The Florida Department of Health (FDOH), Osceola County has a need to purchase a fully automated desktop microbiological testing water testing system that is US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved, including supplies, service plan, training, and installation services. The system will be accredited by the Bureau of Public Health Laboratories to perform microbiological testing on potable and non-potable water. Section 381.006 Florida Statutes mandates that Environmental Health’s program consists of a drinking water function and support determinations by the State Health Officer of safe levels of contaminants in water.
