The system will be accredited by the Bureau of Public Health Laboratories to perform microbiological testing on potable and non-potable water. Section 381.006 Florida Statutes mandates that Environmental Health’s program consists of a drinking water function and support determinations by the State Health Officer of safe levels of contaminants in water.
