The work consists of milling and resurfacing, shoulder treatment, drainage improvements, highway signing, guardrail, and other incidental construction on SR 247 in Columbia County from the Suwannee County Line to I-75 (SR 93). The project includes approximately 10.074 miles of roadway, with 0.045 miles of bridge. Specific items include mobilization, maintenance of traffic, traffic control officers, work zone signs, temporary barriers, channelizing devices, temporary pavement markers, temporary crash cushions, portable changeable message signs, temporary signalization, clearing and grubbing, optional base, milling existing asphalt pavement, superpave asphaltic concrete, asphalt concrete friction course, pipe culvert, mitered end sections, bridge deck expansion joint rehabilitation, concrete ditch pavement, riprap, guardrail, guardrail removal, guardrail end treatments, performance turf sod, shoulder drop off soil, painted pavement markings, ground-in rumble strips, single column ground sign assemblies, retroreflective sign strips, object markers, raised pavement markers, thermoplastic pavement markings, permanent tape, conduit, pull and splice boxes, vehicular signal auxiliaries, and loop assemblies.
