The East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) is seeking firms qualified to provide as-needed emergency restoration, mitigation, and remediation services arising from water intrusion, wastewater releases, and other unanticipated events affecting property damage and subrogation claims administered by EBMUD. EBMUD intends to award a multi-year contract to the proposer that best demonstrates the ability to meet their technical, functional, and support needs. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, commercial-grade equipment, transportation, documentation, and approved specialty services necessary to perform authorized emergency clean-up, stabilization, water or wastewater extraction, structural drying, contents handling, remediation, and removal and disposal of contaminated or non-salvageable materials. Services include water/wastewater extraction, clean-up and remediation, contents manipulation and drying, upholstery cleaning, structural drying, floor/carpet/rug cleaning, deodorization, antimicrobial treatment, structural dehumidification, drying equipment monitoring, mold remediation, material removal, cleaning of exterior walking surfaces and drainage features, disposal and documentation, and specialty services. Structural rebuilding, reconstruction, permanent repairs, remodeling, upgrades, and betterments are excluded unless separately procured and authorized by the District.
