Food and Catering Services

Forney Independent School District (“FISD” or “District”) is interested in receiving proposals from qualified vendors for Food and Catering Services. The District is planning to approve the use of multiple vendors on an "AS NEEDED BASIS". The District makes no guarantee or commitment of any kind concerning quantities that will be purchased. This is an on-going bid. Bids will be opened periodically, evaluated and added to the District's approved vendor list if awarded. THIS PROPOSAL DOES NOT INCLUDE CHILD NUTRITION. Vendors currently awarded for Forney ISD RFP 2022-014 or 2022-014.1 SHOULD NOT submit a new bid response. To check on the maturity date of an existing Forney ISD contract or determine if you should submit a new response, please contact the Purchasing Department at purchasing@forneyisd.net. Forney ISD prefers to use purchasing cooperative contracts unless your response to a FISD bid offers a greater discount therefore best value. If you are currently awarded on a purchasing cooperative contract, please contact us at purchasing@forneyisd.net prior to submitting a bid response. Vendors who do not wish to participate in this proposal, are hereby informed that their services may not be utilized by Forney ISD. Only those responding vendors, who may be awarded a portion of this contract, will be allowed to provide services to any FISD Campus or Facility. All questions regarding the meaning or interpretation of this proposal shall be requested within the e-Bidding portal no later than 2:00 pm on June 1, 2026.
