Description
The Trustees of the California State University will receive electronic bid proposals via the CSUBUY platform for furnishing all
labor and materials for construction of the EVENT CENTER FIRE ALARM REPLACEMENT PROJECT, Project Number
(SJSU-405), for the SAN JOSE STATE CAMPUS.
Proposals will be received in CSUBUY until 2:00 p.m. on March 8th, 2022 (this date has been revised and is included in
Addendum #2), in accordance with the contract documents, at which time the proposals will be publicly opened and read.
In general, the project consists of the replacement of the current fire alarm system, including, but not limited to all new conduit,
cable, fire alarm panels and devices in accordance with the plans and specifications. The new system will parallel the existing one,
keeping the existing system on line until final State Fire Marshall acceptance testing is signed off, then the old systems will be
demolished.
A virtual pre-bid conference meeting has been scheduled for February 1ST, 2022 at 10:00AM.
