RFP Physician, Physician Assistant, and Anesthesiologist Ass
The awarded contractor must provide peer health assistance services as defined in C.R.S. 12-240-131, including: education of licensees on recognition and prevention of problems; intervention; evaluation of the extent of problems; referral for appropriate treatment; monitoring of referred licensees; counseling and support for licensees and their families; receiving referrals from the Colorado Medical Board; and making services available to all licensed Colorado physicians, physician assistants, and anesthesiologist assistants. Services must be available statewide, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The contractor must complete comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations, conduct urinalysis, perform criminal background checks on Board-ordered evaluations, and provide written evaluation reports. The contractor must also maintain a case management database, provide quarterly and annual reports, and comply with all applicable state and federal confidentiality requirements including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
