The project consists of the removal and disposal of the existing metal roofing and deteriorated insulation and vapor barrier from a pre-engineered metal building. Installation of new standing seam metal roofing, insulation and vapor barrier to meet current building code and energy code requirements. The base bid scope of work is limited to those areas indicated on the drawings. The project has three additive alternates which address additional areas of work as indicated on the drawings. The contractor shall include a set quantity of anticipated weather days in their base bid as defined in the project manual. The project includes an allowance to be included within the Base Bid for the potential immediate replacement of moisture saturated rigid roofing insulation assemblies found within areas of partial roof replacement associated with Add Alternates 2 & 3.
