Pre-Bid Conference: A pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday October 8, 2026, at 1:30pm, at the Recycling Transfer Station located at 1421 Central Ave. Needham, MA 02492. Attendance is strongly encouraged but not required.
Provide a 34-foot by 10-foot precast concrete deck fully electronic truck scale with 75-ton capacity and 80,000-pound concentrated load capacity, including platform, rocker-column stainless steel load cells, smart sectional controllers with diagnostics, surge and lightning protection, manways, galvanized steel, and integration with existing instrumentation and printer. Remove the existing steel weighbridge, prepare existing piers and foundation for reuse, off-load and set the new scale with a 60-ton crane, install, calibrate, certify to state tolerances, train personnel, and provide a 5-year prepaid maintenance and calibration agreement, completed within 8 weeks of contract execution.
