The bidder must furnish and deliver 15,000 linear feet of 136 RE head hardened rail in accordance with MBTA Track Material Specification 02851P. The rail must be new, standard grade with minimum Brinell Hardness of 285 BHN, and conform to AREMA Manual for Railway Engineering, Chapter 4, Part 2. Delivery is FOB to 100 Widett Circle, Boston, MA 02118, within the project limits at Widett Circle, by September 2, 2027. The supplier is responsible for quality control, testing at the point of manufacture, coordinating freight and transport, and providing material certifications, bills of lading, and shipping manifests at least ten business days prior to delivery.
