The Contractor will design, implement, install, and support a modern CTC system replacing the MBTA's 25-year-old system, covering heavy and light rail lines and rail yards. The system must integrate with existing signal equipment (Cab Signal, Automatic Block Signal, and other systems), provide remote routing, blocking, track authority, SCADA visualization, and API-based data accessibility, and maintain a 99.999% uptime SLA. The Contractor must also provide installation documentation, environment/testing setups, maintenance and obsolescence management plans, training, a detailed project schedule, and an onsite Project Manager for at least four days per week throughout implementation.
