The Department of Conservation and Recreation is soliciting Requests for Response from qualified vendors who can provide portable toilets for use at special events conducted by Commonwealth, in beach or park areas and/or other applications where temporary and/or permanent portable units may be required.
The contractor must provide portable toilets in three categories: Category 1 – single, multi-unit, and handicap accessible portable toilet units (self-contained, transportable); Category 2 – public facility composting toilets and related services (including complete system, starter bed material, inoculate, components, hardware, and instructions); Category 3 – office trailer restroom system (fully operational bathroom inside a site trailer without water or sewer connection). Services include seasonal servicing, removal and disposal of liquid and solid waste, repairs or replacements of system components, installation and relocation of equipment. Delivery is FOB dock, with contractor liability until signed for. Bidders must be able to offer ADA Wheelchair Accessible units. Statewide bidders must serve all Commonwealth departments; regional bidders must serve all areas of their region. Products must be commercial grade and meet federal, state, and local standards (e.g., ASTM, NEMA, UL). All items must carry a standard manufacturer warranty.
