Blueprint Lateral Lining Monitored Area 1 The Department of Public Utilities Division of Sewerage and Drainage has identified lateral lining as the most effective method for reducing I/I into sanitary and combined mainline sewers. The project, in conjunction with Blueprint Lateral Lining Monitored Area 2, will CIPP line 2000 lateral lines. This project will line 1000 lateral lines across seven (7) blueprint areas with the intent to evaluate the I/I reduction in each of these areas based on flow data.
