Sealed Bids are to be submitted online to City of Anacortes eProcurement portal, Bonfire, at https://anacortes.bonfirehub.com no later than due date and time listed in solicitation document. All Bids and Proposal will be electronically date and time stamped as they are submitted. Bids cannot be accepted if submitted by hard copy, mail, facsimile, or e-mail.
Project Description: This project consists of the replacement of 1 split system AC condensing unit and indoor air handler direct expansion cooling coil with like kind equipment, and associated accessories and controls at the Anacortes Public Safety Building, 1218 24th St, Anacortes, WA 98221.
Physical Completion shall be achieved within 210 calendar days, in accordance with the notice to proceed.
Mandatory Pre-Bid Walk-Through: A mandatory pre-bid walk-through will be held at 2pm on November 4, 2026 at the City of Anacortes Public Safety Building, 1218 24th St, Anacortes, WA 98221.
Bid Deposit: Bidders must submit a bid deposit equal to 5 percent of the bid amount. The deposit may be in cashier’s check, postal money order, or surety bond and must be delivered before the bid submittal deadline to the City of Anacortes, City Clerk, PO Box 547, 904 6th St, Anacortes, WA 98221. Bid deposits must be in a sealed, properly addressed envelope with the name of the Bidder, bid number, and bid title plainly written on the outside of the envelope. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bonds for the faithful performance of the work, as prescribed in the Bidding Documents.
Engineer’s Estimate: $410,000.00
