This project consists of the rehabilitation of an existing lift station wet well, including the replacement of pumps and discharge piping; new access hatch with safety grate; electrical components relocation and improvements; installation of SCADA panel, pump control panel, auto-sensory controls, floats and terminal boxes; filling in the existing dry well; improvements to driveway access to the lift station site; site fencing and paving; along with all related subsidiary and incidental components as shown in the Project Plan Set and contract documents. Storm Water Pollution Prevention Measures (SWPPP) shall be implemented throughout the construction to maintain compliance with applicable environmental and permit requirements. This project consists of temporarily taking Landing Blvd. Lift Station out of service and installing a by-pass pump around to enable the lift station to be rehabilitated. A new epoxy coating on the wet well along with filling in the dry pump valve box and placing aboveground valves and quick connect for vacuum truck. Existing concrete paving will be demolished and replaced with new concrete, new concrete drive approach, and new sidewalk to connect existing sidewalk from the north to the existing sidewalk to the south.
Type of work: Sanitary sewer lift station project to remove valves from valve box replace pumps, all equipment and bracing within the wet well, site rehabilitation, remove and replace fencing, renovation on entrance onto site, new lighting, new SCADA and antenna tower, new power upgrade will be provided. Required traffic control, SWPPP, By-pass, and coordination with Badger Meter for SCADA work.

Bid opening: November 3, 2026 at 2:00 PM (Chicago) — Civic Center 400 W Walker St., League City, Texas 77573 — ids will be received until 2:00 pm, November 3, 2026, and then publicly opened and read aloud at the Civic Center, 400 W. Walker St., League City, TX 77573. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. Bids sent via courier must be sealed in a separate envelope inside of the mailer. The Bidder shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment and perform all work for the construction of the following project: Landing Blvd. Lift Station Rehabilitation CIP WW1901F Bid #26-051 A cashier’s check or Certified Check from a Texas Bank, or acceptable Bid Bond from a reliable surety company authorized to do business in Texas, payable to the City of League City, in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum Bid price submitted, must accompany each Bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will, within 10 calendar days of Award of Contract, enter into a Contract and execute Bonds on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. The Bidder’s deposit shall be forfeited and become the property of the OWNER in the event the Bidder neglects or refuses to enter into a contract and to furnish bonds acceptable to the OWNER within 10 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Award from the OWNER. The Bid Deposit of all except the three lowest Bidders will be returned within 10 calendar days after the opening of the bids. The Bid Deposit of the three lowest bidders will be returned within 7 working days after the executed contract and required Bonds have been fully approved by the OWNER.

All inquiries about this bid or specifications must be made in writing to the League City Purchasing Department, at purchasing@leaguecitytx.gov. The City shall not be responsible for any verbal communication between any employee of the City and any potential bidder. Only written requirements and qualifications will be addressed. The successful Bidder must furnish PERFORMANCE, PAYMENT, and MAINTENANCE BONDS on the forms furnished with the PROPOSAL, in the amount of 100% of the total contract price, from a surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety. A. Work Covered by Contract Documents 1. Work of the contract is to provide mobilization of sufficient workforce, equipment, and supervision to complete the complete rehabilitation of Landing Blvd. Lift Station. Contractor shall review the entirety of the contract documents for the full details of the work involved. The work scope includes but is not limited to: all necessary permits, site preparation, dewatering & groundwater control for open cut construction, removal & disposal of accumulated solids from the wet well and dry-pit, by-pass pumping, and selective demolition & modifications in the lift station as shown in the construction drawings; conversion of the lift station from a dry-pit configuration to a full wet/well submersible pump configuration including installation of new submersible pumps, piping, valves & associated fittings, pressure blasting and protective coating of existing & proposed wet well, new access hatches with safety grate; electrical improvements as shown in the construction drawings, the relocation and selective demolition of existing equipment, new electrical service, installation of new control panels, auto-sensory controls, floats, flashing/audio alarm and terminal boxes. Project will also remove existing concrete paving and place all new site concrete paving to drain towards Landing Blvd. and also include a 5-foot wide sidewalk which will connect the existing 4-foot sidewalks on either side of the site; together with all related subsidiary and incidental components as shown in the contract documents. B. Incidental Work 1. Any and all Work specifically governed by documentary requirements for the project, such as conditions imposed by the Contract Documents in which no specific item for bid has been provided for in the Proposal, then the item shall be considered as an incidental item of Work, the cost of which shall be included in the price bid in the Proposal for various bid items.
