The project consists of construction of a new greenfield 1.5 MGD Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant (IWWTP) for the Riverbend Water Resource District in New Boston, Texas, along with associated site, process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control improvements. Major treatment facilities and improvements include an plant drain lift station with submersible pumps and discharge piping; oil-water separators; chromium reduction tank; rapid mix basin; flocculation clarifiers; dewatering feed pump station; neutralization facilities; continuous-backwash sand filters; Parshall flume and post-aeration basin; and chemical and sludge dewatering facilities. The project also includes construction of an Operations and Electrical Building containing a control room, break room, restroom, mechanical room, SCADA room, plant electrical room, and HVAC systems, as well as an emergency generator. Associated site improvements include yard piping, paving, grading, septic system, stormwater infrastructure, electrical duct banks, transformers, and plant control systems.
