2026 Lead Service Line Replacement Contract 2

The work includes furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment to replace lead service lines on both public and private sides. Public-side work includes concrete base restoration, asphalt concrete surface course, granular backfill, low strength mortar backfill, concrete walk, curb and gutter repair, temporary facilities, mobilization/demobilization, concrete driveway and driveway apron restoration, public-side service line material investigation (sod and pavement areas), public-side lead service line replacement (main to curb stop, various sizes, including lengths greater than 25 LF), furnishing and installing stop cocks, disconnecting existing service branches, furnishing and installing curb and roadway boxes, hydro vac utility potholing, and contract contingency items. Private-side work includes private-side service line material investigation (sod and pavement areas), interior service relocation, certified person and permitting, private-side lead service line replacement (curb stop to meter, various sizes, including lengths greater than 45 LF), topsoil furnishing and placing, seeding and mulching, and cold-patch asphalt pavement restoration. Time and equipment units include 2-person and 3-person crews (straight time and overtime) and flagger services. The contractor must also perform flushing and testing, restoration, record keeping, and customer coordination and scheduling.
