The work consists of construction to provide dynamic underflow control (DUC) to CSO 522 by installing a concrete gate structure with electric motor operated gate and telemetry in the underflow sewer next to Werk and Westbourne EHRT's Influent Control Structure, allowing more flow to the EHRT and reducing underflow to the Muddy Creek Interceptor. The work includes demolition of the existing underflow pipe and parapet in the Influent Flow Control Structure, demolition of the existing DUC and control panel, construction of a new concrete structure abutting the existing Influent Flow Control Structure, installation of gate, actuator, and control panel, and bypass pumping. The work takes place in Green Township in Hamilton County, Ohio, in coordination with SS937 DRY WEATHER CHANNEL (10230130), Invitation to Bid 273C909362.
