The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to barricade empty commercial buildings. Work includes barricading windows and doors using plywood and 2x4s per specified methods, installing locks and hasps on access doors, chaining fire escapes, constructing replacement doors, cutting and removing weeds and litter, providing miscellaneous labor as directed, and installing permanent 4' and 6' chain-link fencing and temporary fencing. The contractor must respond to non-emergency requests within 24 hours and to emergency call-outs within 2 hours, 24/7/365. All work must be performed in accordance with the detailed specifications and as directed by the Department of Buildings and Inspections/Property Maintenance Code Enforcement.
